An article is, in general, an article that presents the author’s argument, but sometimes the definition is unclear, overlapping with that of an argumentative paper, an article, a newspaper column, a novel, and even a short narrative. An article can contain a thesis statement, which will be a very clear argument presented entirely in the style of a debate, or a list of applicable information, which will often support the author’s point of view.
